Striped flint – is formed by being buried deep underground in sediment. Sometimes fossilized fossils contain fossils of organisms, quartz, opal or chalcedony. Stone was used as far back as prehistory as a material for making tools, weapons, or flinting fire. In modern times it is used to make paint, as a ceramic raw material, or for jewelry products. Large deposits of flint are found in Poland, mainly in the Ilzec Foothills.
